This visit marked a significant step toward exploring the potential of introducing Nepali handmade products into the Chinese market.
The program brought together a diverse group of participants, including entrepreneurs and business representatives, who engaged directly with local industries, markets, and stakeholders in Quzhou. Through guided visits, interactive sessions, and on-ground exposure, participants gained valuable insights into China’s business environment, consumer behavior, and distribution systems.

A key highlight of the visit was the exploration of opportunities for promoting Nepali handmade products—renowned for their craftsmanship, cultural authenticity, and sustainability—in the growing Chinese marketplace. The exchange opened pathways for potential partnerships, collaborations, and export strategies that can benefit both Nepali producers and Chinese buyers.

Beyond business, the field trip also provided a rich cultural experience. Participants had the opportunity to understand Chinese traditions, local lifestyle, and regional diversity, fostering stronger people-to-people connections. This cultural immersion enhanced mutual understanding, which is essential for long-term business success.
Overall, the Quzhou field visit was a highly productive and enriching experience. It not only broadened participants’ global perspective but also laid a strong foundation for future trade initiatives between Nepal and China. The insights and connections gained during this trip will play a vital role in shaping upcoming business strategies and international collaborations.
