The Nepal-China Exchange Forum (NCEF) aims to strengthen cultural, educational, and business relationships between Nepal and China by promoting people-to-people connections and fostering mutual understanding. Inspired by the vision of Honorable Former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, a long-time advocate for Nepal-China relations, NCEF seeks to complement the strong political ties between the two nations through sustainable development, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation. Under Mr. Khanal’s leadership, NCEF is dedicated to creating lasting goodwill and partnership through meaningful programs and initiatives.

Our mission is to strengthen Nepal-China ties by fostering cultural appreciation, tourism, and business exchanges through meaningful collaborative initiatives, partnerships, mutual respect, and shared economic growth.

Our goal is to build a platform for regular cultural, educational, and business exchanges, enhancing mutual respect through collaborative projects and fostering long-term partnerships between institutions and communities.
THE ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVES
Cultural Exchange
- Organize cultural events, art exhibitions, and traditional performances showcasing Nepalese and Chinese heritage.
- Promote the exchange of traditional knowledge, crafts, and festivals.
- Host Chinese Food Festivals, Film Festivals, and Acrobatics performances.
Educational Collaboration
- Establish partnerships with Chinese universities and educational institutions.
- Offer language and cultural training programs for students and professionals.
- Develop scholarship and internship programs for Nepalese and Chinese students.
- Promote Chinese language learning through centers across Nepal’s seven provinces.
Business Cooperation
- Conduct trade expos, business expos, and networking events to promote Nepalese and Chinese products and services.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing on business practices, technology, and entrepreneurship.
- Organize investment summits to promote investments in key projects.
Research and Development
- Facilitate joint research in science, technology, agriculture, and energy.
- Host seminars and conferences on sustainability, innovation, and mutual areas of interest.
- Facilitate research in financial systems of both countries to ease commercial transactions.
