ABOUT ORGANIZATION

The Nepal-China Exchange Forum (NCEF) is dedicated to building strong cultural, educational, and business relationships between Nepal and China. By promoting people-to-people connections, NCEF aims to deepen understanding and collaboration, strengthening ties between the two nations.

NCEF is inspired by the vision and experience of Honorable Former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, a long-time advocate for strong Nepal-China relations. With his decades of political experience and close engagement with Chinese leaders, Mr. Khanal envisioned NCEF as a platform to enhance grassroots connections and mutual understanding. He believes that strong people-to-people ties are essential to complement the already robust political relationship between the two countries.

Mr. Khanal’s vision focuses on promoting sustainable development, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation between Nepal and China. Guided by his leadership, NCEF is committed to turning this vision into meaningful programs and initiatives that will create lasting goodwill and partnership between the two nations.

Our Focus Areas for Stronger Nepal-China Collaboration

THE ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVES

Cultural Exchange
  1. Organize cultural events, art exhibitions, and traditional performances showcasing Nepalese and Chinese heritage.
  2. Promote the exchange of traditional knowledge, crafts, and festivals.
  3. Host Chinese Food Festivals, Film Festivals, and Acrobatics performances.
Educational Collaboration
  1. Establish partnerships with Chinese universities and educational institutions.
  2. Offer language and cultural training programs for students and professionals.
  3. Develop scholarship and internship programs for Nepalese and Chinese students.
  4. Promote Chinese language learning through centers across Nepal’s seven provinces.
Tourism Promotion
  1.  Highlight key travel destinations of Nepal and China, emphasizing shared cultural heritage.
  2. Host tourism expos to promote coordination between tourism businesses of both countries.
  3. Promote tourism-related agriculture development initiatives.
Research and Development
  1. Facilitate joint research in science, technology, agriculture, and energy.
  2. Host seminars and conferences on sustainability, innovation, and mutual areas of interest.
  3. Facilitate research in financial systems of both countries to ease commercial transactions.
Business Cooperation

 

  1. Conduct trade expos, business expos and networking events to promote Nepalese and Chinese products and services.
  2. Facilitate knowledge sharing on business practices, technology, and entrepreneurship.
  3. Organize Investment summits to promote investments in key projects.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Nepal-China Exchange Forum (NCEF). Our goal is to build strong and meaningful connections between the people of Nepal and China. With guidance from our Protector, Honorable Former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, we are dedicated to creating opportunities people to people for cultural, educational, and economic exchanges.

Nepal and China have a long history of friendship, and we aim to strengthen this bond through our activities. From cultural festivals celebrating our heritage to educational and business collaborations, NCEF works to bridge gaps and create opportunities that benefit the people both nations.

As Chairman, I am excited about the future. We plan to organize various activities such as cultural and tourism promotions, business exchange forums, collaborated educational programs and joint research and development. These events are not just activities—they are steps toward building mutual respect, understanding, and growth.
